Plagiarism is not permitted in the Iraqi Journal of Laser (IJL), since it is a serious violation of publishing ethics. Plagiarism is defined as copying text, tables, photos, or data from another source, even the author's own publications, without properly citing the original source. All manuscripts submitted to IJL are verified for plagiarism using the Turnitin software. If plagiarism is detected at any stage of the publication process the journal board will reject the manuscript.
